- The internship is only available to University of Leeds undergraduates.
We are looking to hire an intern to work on an exciting project in the Robot Manipulation Lab at the School of Computing, University of Leeds.
This internship will investigate different physics simulators for a robot manipulator. Our research focuses on developing physics-based algorithms. These algorithms, unlike the traditional ones, use physics predictions and plan for a solution involving object interactions. At the heart of these algorithms is a physics simulator which implements the system dynamics. The role of the physics simulator plays an integral part to the overall system’s performance.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in tackling real-world problems, involved in research and gain valuable research experience with robotic systems.
